About Us

CIS provides a high-quality education to boarding and day students on a modern secure campus within easy reach of Lekki, Ikoyi and Victoria Island.

Situated on our campus are three schools, our Juniors, catering to children from Nursery to Year 6, our Seniors from Year 7 to the completion of IGCSE examinations in Year 11 and our
Sixth Form which delivers A Level course prior to progression to university. Each benefit from excellent purpose-built classrooms and highly skilled and dedicated teachers.

All three schools follow a British curriculum plus model. That is, we fully deliver the content and skills of the English National curriculum and add to this to ensure that the context
within which the school sits is also reflected. Therefore, our children emerge with and internationally recognised education and qualifications whilst also maintaining an
appreciation and understanding of the culture. history and values of the society in which they live.

For children to truly flourish we must take care to allow them to develop their talents outside of the classroom. To this end we have a vibrant extracurricular programme of
sports, music, drama, academic extension, and the arts which take place at the end of each day. Within these programmes care is taken to ensure that the soft skills, so crucial to a
child’s development, of self-confidence, leadership, resilience, competition, and teamwork are all developed.
